While most Zones in the world of Lensmoor are created by the Immortal Staff, there are special ones known as known as a "Hero Castle" or "Castle Zone", these personal zones are created by players for players. At a scope and scale far beyond a Player Home or Player Shop, a Castle Zone is between 100 and 200 rooms, features NPCs, items, and anything else the builder wants to create.

In short, it is the ultimate expression of creativity on Lensmoor beyond Roleplay, you actually make a permanent imprint on the game world.
Once you meet the requirements to buying a castle, you may use the syntax: castle buy [direction] while in the wilderness.
A castle costs 5,000 platinum and 20,000 quest points. You may only ever have one castle. Once a castle is bought, you gain access to the "castle" command which allows you use to the OLC tools.
Please refer to the Lensmoor OLC Instruction Manual for details on the OLC tools for building your Castle Zone.
A Castle Zone does not necessarily have to be a "castle", it can be ANYTHING in-theme and in-reason, but it should be in some what representative of the person building it. The Castle Zone is expected to conform to the standards of building on Lensmoor that the Immortal Staff have, and more. Each character may only ever have one castle and once the castle zone is completed it is put up for review by the Immortal Staff before being opened to the public; the zone must pass every aspect of review in order to be opened.
